Co-op : Graphic Design
For my Co-op position, I had been dedicated to graphic design to help increase business exposure on social media and marketing channels. These projects ranged from icons, web sites, logos to physical media such as posters and brochures.
Graphic design is a powerful way to enhance the message. Marketing, based on keywords searching, created blog posts to boost the engagement and to target certain keywords. When I did social media design which make original and unique posts.
- Challenge & Soltuion -
Having to interact with many unique clients, provided interesting challenges when it came to learning someone else's workflows and communication habits. The largest challenge was overcoming communication barriers, some clients didn't always understand design jargon and they were not always English speakers. For my Italian and Spanish clients, I always made sure we had enough time to ensure all the communication was understood. I also wrote out definitions for them to easily understand.
